Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how the QuantumCalc service (quantumcalcgpt.com) uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you use the Service. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage (localStorage).
2. Types of cookies we use
Necessary (always active)
Required for the Service to work — no consent needed. These include:
| Cookie | Purpose |
|---|---|
login session (e.g. connect.sid) | keep you signed in |
| access / refresh token (JWT) | secure authentication |
qc_locale | remember your chosen language |
qc_consent | remember your cookie preferences |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | bot protection at login and checkout |
Analytics (with consent)
Set only if you give consent. They help us understand how you use the Service so we can improve it.
| Cookie / technology | Provider |
|---|---|
analytics cookies (ph_*) + localStorage | PostHog |
Third-party cookies
Some features (Crisp support chat, Stripe payments, the InPost locker map) may set their own cookies in accordance with those providers' policies.
Cookieless campaign measurement
QuantumCalc campaign links may contain signed source parameters. The server measures visits, carts and paid orders without storing cookies or localStorage for this purpose. This measurement operates independently of PostHog analytics consent; the Privacy Policy describes the data used.
3. Managing consent
On your first visit we show a banner to accept or decline analytics cookies. You can change your choice anytime via “Cookie settings” in the Service footer. Necessary cookies stay active because the Service cannot work properly without them.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also manage cookies in your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Restricting necessary cookies may prevent some features from working.
5. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy. The current date appears at the top of this document.
